Privacy policy

1. Who we are

WhatsNext Systems (a partnership firm based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India) operates www.whatsnext.systems. For anything in this policy, write to harit@whatsnext.systems. That address also reaches our grievance contact under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2. What we collect, and why

Visit statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It does not use cookies. It records the page viewed, the referring site, campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source), browser, operating system, device type and approximate country. Visitors are counted with a request-based identifier that Vercel discards within 24 hours; we cannot use it to identify you, and we only see aggregated figures.

Hosting and security logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Vercel processes your IP address and technical request data (such as time, URL and browser) in short-lived server logs.

Messages you choose to send

The site has no sign-up or account. The configuration brief on the Applications page builds a message inside your browser; nothing is sent to us until you press send in WhatsApp or your email app. When you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send — typically your name, company, contact details and project information — and use it only to reply, prepare quotations or configurations, and carry on the conversation you started.

What we do not do

• No cookies, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.
• No selling, renting or trading of personal data.
• No automated decision-making or profiling.
• No collection of sensitive data. Please do not send any.

3. Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose listed:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting, security logs and cookieless analytics.
• Our email provider — to receive and send email.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp; its own privacy policy applies to your use of the app.

These providers may process data outside India. We will disclose information to authorities only where Indian law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Analytics are kept only in aggregate. Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to respond and to run any business relationship that follows, and for any period the law requires for records such as invoices. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time, subject to those legal requirements.

5. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, completed or updated, have it erased, withdraw consent you have given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to harit@whatsnext.systems; we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable safeguards appropriate to the small amount of data we hold.

7. Children

This site is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

8. Links to other sites

Pages link to other websites, such as harittrivedi.com, LinkedIn and component manufacturers. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
